After a lunch stop at Ibis Hotel, continue your journey to Nyungwe, arriving at your luxurious lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you’ll set off for Nyungwe Forest to embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Suspended 70 meters above the forest floor, this 160-meter long bridge provides a bird’s-eye view of Nyungwe’s lush ecosystem. End the day with dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Rise early for another trek into Nyungwe Forest, this time to observe the Ruwenzori Colobus monkeys. This morning, depart early for the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for your briefing before embarking on the highly anticipated gorilla trek. The trek, which can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, leads you deep into the heart of the volcanic mountains to meet one of the mountain gorilla families. You will have one hour to observe and photograph these gentle giants. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before heading back to Kigali.
